WHAT SETS CROWN ENTERTAINMENT APART FROM OTHER DJ COMPANIES?

The talent of the DJs and the relationships we build with our clients. We want to know as much as possible about you, your family, and your guests before your reception begins. We will go out of our way to make sure your day is exactly as you have envisioned. You can count on our award-winning experience, a polished, professional attitude and our love for what we do.

WHO ARE YOUR DJS?

Crown Entertainment is comprised of seasoned personalities who have an enormous amount of entertainment experience. Terry Moran, Crown owner, has 100s of weddings under his belt and has performed at events for the Great Boston YMCA Gala, Boston University, The Lowell Spinners, and events at Fenway Park. Paul Dailey also has performed at 100s of events, and brings his deep musical knowledge to the table. Their skills are kept sharp by busy wedding schedules and speaking at DJ Seminars in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Both have been voted a ‘National DJ All Star’ by Mobile Beat Magazine on numerous occasions.

DO YOU PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT FOR ANY EVENTS OTHER THAN WEDDINGS?

Absolutely. While we specialize in wedding receptions, our staff has performed at many different events ranging from 50-1000 people. These events include corporate parties, black tie galas, reunions, fundraisers, anniversaries, and birthday parties.

DO YOU PROVIDE MUSIC FOR THE WEDDING CEREMONY?

We often provide the ceremony music. Let us know if the ceremony is in the same area as the reception, or a different location. We’ll handle it and be happy to share our ideas for processionals, recessionals and classical pieces. You can also inquire with our office staff about live musicians.

OUR COCKTAIL HOUR IS GOING TO BE IN A SEPARATE ROOM FROM THE RECEPTION. IS THAT A PROBLEM?

No. We suggest that you opt for us to set up a second sound system which allows for uninterrupted music as your guests mingle and enjoy hors d’oeuvres.

WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU OFFER?

Our music library is suitable for all occasions and can be modified for any event. Looking for ethnic music? Greek music? Salsa? We feature over 35,000 track titles, and music is available from the 1940’s all the way up to today’s top 10. We have it and we can mix the songs together to make the music work for your entire guest list. This is where our experience stands out.

WILL YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF MASSACHUSETTS?

Yes. We have travel frequently all over New England have performed weddings and corporate events in Orlando, Ohio, Puerto Rico, Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Hawaii. We are willing to travel to any other destinations.

DO YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE DJ AVAILABLE?

Yes. We have multiple DJs available, each sharing multiple years of experience behind the decks and the same goal of making your event a true success. We are not, however, and agency where you will find 20 good DJs. We are a boutique shop with 3 great DJs!

CAN WE MAKE OUR OWN REQUESTS?

Absolutely. We encourage you to customize your event for you and your guests. Before your wedding, we will meet and discuss all of the music selections and details for your evening. We will use your playlist, and your DO NOT playlist accordingly. This is your event, with your agenda.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK?

Generally speaking, we book six to nine months in advance. We have also booked events in under two weeks and as far out as eighteen months. Call as soon as you know the date you are interested in, so we can talk about our availability.

WHAT IF WE ONLY NEED LIGHTING, NOT DJ SERVICES?

Not a problem. We have a professional staff of lighting technicians who can customize your event, set up the equipment, operate it during the event, and tear it down at the end of the night. We also offer pinspot lighting to highlight your centerpieces at each table.

WHAT OTHER OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER FOR EVENTS?

Color-matched uplighting, pinspotting, truss, video screens (up to 14 feet), custom monograms, custom video production, digital signage, text-to-screen, music videos, plasmas and photoboooths. Call us so we can brainstorm together on creating a great event.

WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept personal checks, money orders, and cashier’s check. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

IS A RETAINER REQUIRED TO RESERVE OUR DATE?

Yes. We require a 20% retainer to reserve the items and secure your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event.

WHAT IF, AT THE RECEPTION, WE WANT CROWN ENTERTAINMENT TO PLAY BEYOND THE CONTRACTED TIME?

Not a problem. We only book our DJs to one event per day, so there are no time restrictions. Simply authorize the DJ to stay as long as you would like. We will verify with the venue and continue the party!
